Trust Administration and Registration
Trusts in South Africa are regulated by the Trust Property Control Act 57 of 1988. A trust is a legal structure that allows assets to be managed by trustees for the benefit of beneficiaries.
There are two main types of trusts:
Inter Vivos Trust (Living Trust)
An Inter Vivos Trust is created by one or more living individuals during their lifetime. This type of trust is commonly used for asset protection, estate planning, and wealth preservation.
Testamentary Trust
A Testamentary Trust is created through a valid Last Will and Testament and only comes into effect after the death of the person who created the will.
Trust Registration
An Inter Vivos Trust must be registered with the Master of the High Court in the area where most of the trust's assets are located. Once the trust has been registered, the Master issues Letters of Authority, which officially authorize the trustees to manage the trust.
Our Trust Registration Service Includes:
• Drafting of the Trust Deed
• Preparation of all registration documents
• Trustee appointment documentation
• Submission to the Master of the High Court

We make the trust registration process simple, efficient, and compliant, helping you protect your assets and secure your family's future.
